A NEW fight to keep jobs in the Illawarra has emerged after a brutal state mini-budget announced the sale of a key public sector office in Wollongong and the closure of Keelong Juvenile Justice Centre at Unanderra.

PROTECTING about 600 jobs at the Wollongong call centre of superannuation administration business Pillar will be central to any deal if a proposed sell-off of the state-owned business goes ahead.
